The new phase of Suzhou Village, an outlet mall in Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort, SIP, came into operation on Apr 22, marking an all-around upgrading of the mall in space, brands, services, and consumer experience and making it the largest member with the most diversified brands within the British company Value Retail’s Bicester Village Shopping Collection.

The expansion project covers an area of about 10,000 square meters, boasting a design blending a European architectural style with elements drawn from Suzhou’s classical gardens and the natural beauty of Yangcheng Lake. It has attracted about 60 brands including American Vintage, Brompton, Salomon, Wilson, and Marimekko. Of the new stores, over 30 are the first of their kind in China or in a certain region in the country.

A new garden has been created to enhance tourist experience, and about 400 parking spaces (including those for electric vehicles) have been added.

It is learned that a food market is set to take place here from Apr 30 to May 31, offering diverse noodles ranging from Suzhou’s specialties to Asia Pacific instant noodles and pastas.
