The Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZS) concluded its performance tour in Egypt with a critically acclaimed concert at Cairo Opera House, Egypt, on June 11.

At the invitation of the China Cultural Center in Cairo, the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZS) put on two concerts at Cairo Opera House on June 10 and 11 in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt.
The first concert also coincided with the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations, with both its lineup and program schedule showcasing the sincerity of deep artistic integration between the two countries. Conducted by SZS Music Director Chen Xieyang and Egyptian conductor Ahmed El Saedi, the orchestra performed a list of globally renowned music works highlighting Chinese and Egyptian cultural and artistic elements.

The second concert, led by Chen, highlighted Eastern expression through the fusion of Chinese and Western elements, focusing on spreading Chinese stories abroad.
