The Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre (SZOSC) in SIP was recently recognized as a typical case of intelligent sports venues by China Sports Venue Association.

The center, with full Wi-Fi coverage, employs a four-level smart management platform integrating 30 systems for operation and equipment management.

A comprehensive booking platform allows citizens to purchase tickets, reserve courts, and register for training with one click. Self-service access is available for the swimming and ball game venues, while outdoor courts unlock via QR code scanning and electronic screens loop real-time information about parking spaces and events. It is worth mentioning that the tennis courts are equipped with a smart evaluation system that records process of matches and training for review and analysis.

For safety and security, an advanced monitoring and alarming system is adopted, and intelligent lighting, ice-storage and rainwater collection systems are used to promote green operations.
