SIP-based real estate conglomerate Hengtai Holding launched a renovation project on May 8, aiming to transform the western zone of Jinfeng Plaza into a benchmark for “convenient living circles” in the northern part of SIP.

The old plaza, operationalized in 2007, serves as one of the major shopping spots to fulfil the strong demands of residents in the communities densely distributed in the surrounding areas. It is faced with an urgent need for upgrading to eliminate safety pitfalls possibly caused by aging facilities and also meet new consumption trends.

The project, positioned as “the center for quality community life”, will focus on meeting shoppers’ needs for meals, daily necessaries and leisure. It will integrate a boutique supermarket, well-known restaurants, sports and electronics brands, and a business hotel. The project is set to complete at the end of this year, and open in early 2027.
