TenNor Therapeutics, a biotech company dedicated to developing therapies for diseases associated with bacterial infections and bacterial metabolism, was officially listed on the Main Board of the HKEX on May 22, becoming the second company in SIP to go public this year.

Founded in 2013, TenNor Therapeutics focuses on addressing the challenge of drug resistance associated with traditional antibacterial drugs. Its staple product, TNP-2198, is the world’s first and only new molecular entity (NME) candidate specifically developed for the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection. The company has submitted an application to the National Medical Products Administration of China for a marketing approval for this drug.
TenNor Therapeutics issued 8.2806 million shares in the initial public offering at a price of HK$ 75.70 per share, raising HK$ 627 million. The proceeds will be primarily used for the research and development, registration, and commercialization of its core products.
