The Brückner branch in SIP received the pile foundation construction permit on May 19 for a new project in the park. Thanks to the efficient collaboration between SIP Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau and related authorities of SIP High-end Manufacturing and International Trade Zone, the company received the permit soon after land right transfer.

Founded in Germany in 1960, Brückner Group is a global leader in polymer film stretching and one of the world’s largest packaging machine manufacturers.

With an investment of about US$100 million, the new facility will boast a land area of about 103 mu (6.87 hectares) and a floor area of about 45,000 square meters. Combining workshops, offices and an exhibition hall, it will integrate the functions of high-end manufacturing, R&D, marketing and settlement, supply and procurement to serve as a major strategic hub for Brückner’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
