Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in SIP held the 20th Anniversary High-Quality Development Conference cum Strategic Development Conference on “Building a Globally Influential International Education Hub” on May 22, looking back on its development over the past two decades and announcing its future development strategy.

XJTLU, founded in 2006, is one of China’s largest Sino-foreign joint universities. It embodies a student-centered and learning-focused model aimed at healthy growth, advocating personalized, interest-driven, and research-led learning while enhancing students’ understanding of the industry background. Its objective is to ensure that students gain a comprehensive understanding of their respective fields and future industry trends, making them truly proficient professionals.

At the event, the school announced the XJTLU Strategic Plan 2026-2036. In the next phase, XJTLU will shift from building on its 3.0 model to honing the 4.0 model, aiming to create an ecosystem for the future, breaking down boundaries between university and society, education and life, and learning and work.

Representatives from the university’s strategic partners gave speeches, expressing expectations for deeper cooperation with XJTLU under this strategic plan.
