The China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Suzhou Area recently highlighted 15 institutional innovation cases that were prominent in 2025.

These cases, selected by an expert panel after comprehensive assessment, have shown good effect in facilitating trade transformation and upgrading, high-end industrial development, technology-driven innovation, government function transformation, and legal environment improvement.

Among them are the freight station which provides services for cargoes from SIP and the surrounding areas to go through security and customs inspections in the FTZ before being delivered to Shanghai for air transportation, Jiangsu province’s first pilot site for segmented production of biologics, and the Yuanyilian service platform which is designed to facilitate integrated development of industry chains.

So far, the FTZ has made 270 achievements in institutional innovation, including 14 being rolled out nationwide and 66 duplicated across Jiangsu.
