The Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Suzhou Committee and the SIP CPPCC Work Liaison Committee jointly held an event on Apr 29, giving enterprises seeking development in Thailand a helping hand in cross-border investment and trade. Ding Lixin, vice chairman of the CPPCC Suzhou Committee, was present.

During the event, the representative from Grandall Law Firm (Suzhou) gave the participants a detailed account of legal risks that Chinese enterprises may be faced with when doing business in Thailand, and provided advice on countermeasures.
Executives from 15 enterprises located in SIP and Wuzhong District shared experience in overseas business operations, and provided suggestions for enterprises intending to enter international markets.
The participating CPPCC members and representatives from other organizations provided suggestions for compliance guarantee, risk control and international dispute resolution, and those from related authorities answered the enterprise representatives’ inquiries.
Ding suggested enterprises seize global opportunities to expand overseas based on their needs and conditions, and urged related departments to join efforts to guide enterprises to take part in international cooperation and strengthen support for them.
