With the approach of the week-long national campaign aimed at promoting energy conservation, which will last from June 15 to 21 this year, and the National Low-Carbon Day, which will fall on June 17, SIP launched a four-month campaign on June 11 to advocate low-carbon lifestyles.

The campaign rewards eco-friendly everyday actions—such as green commuting, waste sorting, and participation in the “Clear Your Plate” initiative to reduce food waste—with carbon credits. Residents can accumulate credits and exchange them for gifts online.
Furthermore, participants are encouraged to donate carbon credits to support the green development of the Jiangsu Football City League, a sports event that is going on across 13 cities of Jiangsu province. This is expected to instill low-carbon concepts into cultural and athletic activities, making sustainable living a natural part of urban life.
